Order of the Arrow

We are proud to announce that 57 Scouts and Scouters joined the Order of the Arrow by successfully completing their Ordeal during the March induction weekend. Additionally, 22 OA members advanced their commitment to the Order by converting from Ordeal to Brotherhood membership.

The Order of the Arrow, known as Scouting’s National Honor Society, recognizes Scouts and Scouters who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives. These individuals are selected by their peers as ones who lead through cheerful service to others.

Our newest Arrowmen immediately demonstrated this spirit of service by preparing the COPE (Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience) course for the upcoming National Camping School in May. Their hard work and dedication will ensure that our council is ready to host this important training event.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all new members and Brotherhood recipients. Your commitment to the ideals of the Order of the Arrow strengthens not only our lodge but the entire Scouting program in Old North State Council.
