The Old North State Council serves eight counties in central North Carolina, ranging from Mebane to Mocksville and everywhere in between. As one of the most prominent and historically rich Scouting Councils in the nation, we are dedicated to preparing young people to make ethical and moral choices throughout their lifetimes.

Our Mission

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Scout Oath
