The Old North State Council recognizes the achievements of its Scouts, Scouters, and supporters during its annual recognition banquet.

The council hosts the annual recognition banquet each spring. See the council calendar for date, location, and registration link.

During the annual recognition banquet, the council presents the following awards. The recipients of these awards are identified by a selection committee from a list of nominated Scouts and Scouters. The council Advancement and Recognition committee oversees the entire recognition process from selection to presentation.

For each of the awards and recognitions listed below, the nomination deadline is For each of the council level awards below, the annual nomination deadline is February 1. For example, for someone to be recognized at the 2026 annual council recognition banquet, they must be nominated by 11:59 pm on February 1, 2026.

These awards are presented annually at the district annual banquets.
Nomination forms should be submitted to the District Executive by 11:59pm on January 1 of the year to be presented.

Other Awards Administered By District

Nominations for these awards should be submitted to your District Executive. There is no numerical deadline for these awards.
These awards are typically presented at the district Roundtables.
