CSR Hall of Leadership Class of 2025 Members Announced
As part of the Cherokee Volunteer Recognition Lunch on Saturday, March 8, we will induct the second class into the Cherokee Hall of Leadership. During the ceremony on March 8, the recipients will receive a pewter turtle medal suspended from a green ribbon as a symbol of their membership, dedication to the Cherokee Scout Reservation, and a life guided by the Scout Oath and Law. Members of the Hall of Leadership are selected because of their long-time leadership to CSR as adult volunteers, CSR camp staff alumni who have made significant impacts in their community after working at camp, or partners who have enhanced our program in ways we could not without their friendship and support.

Exciting additions to Cherokee Scout Reservation‘s Summer Camp 2025 merit badge and activity matrix. Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine will be offered for the first time. Geochaching replaces Signs, Signals, and Codes. Scouts with fishing merit badge can participate in our advanced fishing course. In partnership with the Scouts BSA Merit Badge Lab, we will pilot Wildland Fire Management. Should be a fun time for everyone.
