Tournament Details

GRANDOVER RESORT AND SPA offers as its signature two 18 hole championship golf courses, East & West, designed by David Graham and Gary Panks.  The experienced Golf Professionals commonly organize premier tournaments, and its well-appointed Golf Pro Shop features a current selection of apparel, equipment, and gift items.  The Grandover golf team is dedicated and known to deliver the very best service and experience to their golfing guests.

Thank You to Our Lead Corporate Sponsor!

THE TOURNAMENT will be played on the prestigious EAST Course.  Opened in March of 1996, East is a challenging 7250 yards from the championship tees.  Our tournament will allow forgiveness to this distance for a fun but competitive event.  Many of the holes are designed to give a stadium-type effect and the tree-lined fairways provide guests the feeling of being in a nature preserve in the Heartland of golf.  Grandover affords golfers of all skill levels the best and most affordable opportunity to play a great course and support the adventure of Scouting.

Does Scouting Work?

We all know Scouting’s goal is to prepare young people for life, but does it work? Scouting was put to the test over the course of three years, when a research team from Tufts University worked with BSA to measure the character attributes of both Scouts and non-Scouts – all with a goal of better understanding the character development of youth as it was happening. The project surveyed nearly 1,800 Cub Scouts and nearly 400 non-Scouts under age 12, using both interviews and survey data. In the beginning, there were no significant differences between the two groups. By the end, however, the differences were striking:
