Area 2: Service & Citizenship
Complete 3:
- Scouting for Food – Participate in the annual food drive.
- Participate in Scouting America’s National Day of Service.
- Participate in the council’s 9/11 25th anniversary memorial service project.
- With your unit, complete a total of 250 service hours as part of Scouting America’s Impact 365 campaign.
- Civics Knowledge – Learn and recite the opening section of the Declaration of Independence.
- Civics Service – Complete a city or county service project for a minimum of 2 hours.
- Community Events – Take part in a local event in your community.
- Scouts BSA – With your patrol, participate in the Council Civics Bee (Deadline 4/9) Download and complete the questionaire by clicking on this link.
- Scouts BSA – Complete the Citizenship in the Nation merit badge.
- Scouts BSA – Participate in the ONSC American Heritage Merit Badge College on 4/11.
